  • Manufacturer: Wim Grunewald
  • Size: 64 cm
  • Eroica Approved Bicycle
  • Description:
Wim Grunewald was a German frame builder who set up a shop in the 1960s in Wiesbaden, Germany.
There he was responsible for frames and parts, whilst his wife took care of fiddly repair jobs like tire changes.
Like most of his frames ours too is built from Reynolds tubing and Bocama lugs. Grunewald was always fond of very classical bikes. As groupset we have the legendary Shimano Dura Ace, with those pretty high flange hubs!
The paint job is a bit of an extravaganza. Those paintbrush-styled snake skin patterns are as exotic as it could get in 1970s Wiesbaden.
The bike is perfectly made for someone with very long legs who is looking for a classic steel racer. And of course it is suitable for L'Eroica or any other vintage cycling event.
