Sempion has its roots in Vanzaghello. There at the outskirts of the Milan metropol region, frame constructor Paolo Torretta came up with interesting designs since the 1960s.
Sempion pulled off a mainstream hit with the Saltafoss model, an elaborated full suspension chopper bike, a real dream bike for kids.
But also breathtaking top class artisan racing bikes wore the Sempion logo, which our frameset profoundly proves.
The frame without fork weighs in at only 1470 grams - quite remarkable for an aerodynamically improved design.
The shifting cables are routed internally and the main tubes are ovalised. But what is maybe the most remarkable detail are the logs and dropouts. Those parts have been painstakingly drilled and create a unique look.
A rare piece indeed.
Used. The frame with original paint , chrome and decals has no dents and is not bent. The headtube has a crack which is also running to the upper headlug. So it is recommended to have the frame repaired before using.
