Peugeot Road bikes have usually been built with the needs of amateur racers in mind, who are best served with a strong, long lasting frame and reliable components.
Our Peugeot PY14 is no exception, but here Peugeot went a step further and created a frame from unusually light Reynolds tubing.
The tubing which has been used for the frame is the legendary and race-proven Reynolds 531 but here the walls have been drawn to a thinner gauge.
As for the parts, you can easily claim that our specific frame has been outfitted with some of the finest components you could get at that time. A combination of Spidel, Stronglight, Shimano, Mavic etc. can be found on this bike. But not just any parts were used, it really is the top class that was used.
The shifting is working easily with one of those Retro-Friction shifters, the top choice of professional riders in the first half of the 1980s.
Our Peugeot has been thoroughly checked and serviced.
Now it is fit for everyday rides, weekend touring or Eroica races. »See Details
