In 1939, Guiseppe Olmo, nicknamed "Gepin", retired from a successful cycling carreer. Straight afterwards he set up a bicycle manufacture firm in Celle Ligure together with his brothers Franco, Giovanni and Michele. The company is still in production today.
During the years many excellent bikes have left Celle Ligure to win races all over the world.
One of the nice 1990s model lines was the 'Olmo Racing'.
The bike we present here is based on one of these frames. But it is also developed further. The frame from lugged Columbus Gara tubing still sports is beautiful original paintwork. Just the parts have changed.
Now the bike is equipped with all new componentry. The parts are chosen to be reliable, lasting and making the bike most versatile.
From the super smooth modern bearings to the amazing wide range transition on the drivetrain. From the excellent tires to the crisp, precise shifting and amazing brakes. This machine has been built to climb mountains easily, decent safely and make your daily dose of cycling simply more exciting.
It is a well made and light bike, equipped with just what you need.
Commutes, weekend rides and longer tours will be more fun than ever!
Used. The frame is in good condition. Original paintwork and decals. No dents, no cracks or bends. Very few signs of usage or paint chips. All are in very good condition.
