Ideor Rare Italian Road Bike 1940s
- Manufacturer: Ideor
- Size: 59 cm
We are happy to present to you a rare piece of Italian cycling history. An Ideor Racing Bike from the 1940s.
Thie brand Ideor became a bit more famous in the 1950s and 1960s when they exported bikes as 'Ideor Assos'. But this bike is still deeply rooted in the 1930s and 1940s bike design.
The nicely profiled seat stays, the beautiful integrated headset, the chromed lugs, the special dropouts. Pick a part of the frame and it turns out to be a great authentic piece.
Yet, of course, the ultimate eye-catcher on the Ideor is the Vittoria Giro di Francia shifting with the corresponding Vittoria freewheel on Siamt hubs! A legendary mechanism which is sometimes called the mother of Italian derailleurs.
This bike is a great item for collections. »See Details
