Guido Messina Super Record Classic Road Bike 1980s
- Manufacturer: Messina
- Size: 55 cm
Guido Messina is an Italian road and track champion cyclist who rode with the Frejus and Molteni teams in the 1950s-1960s.
After retiring from competitions, he started distributing high-quality road and track bicycles, the frames of which were mainly built by expert artisans from Turin, as Giovanni Pelà and Villata among the others.
This Guido Messina Super Record Classic Road Bike is made of light and sturdy Columbus SL tubes which are jointed into Cinelli lugs. Other refined details are the engraved fork crown and a pantographed stem. This frame cannot be equipped with anything less than top class Campagnolo parts, so there is a full Campagnolo Super Record groupset on it. The 28-hole rims are laced on high flange hubs with flattened aero spokes!
This is a perfectly beautiful and reliable early 1980s bike. The right balance between a piece of art and a speed-hungry machine»See Details
