The Gios Team Compact is an example of exquisite 1990s steel frames. Made of Dedacciai tubing - specifically designed for this Gios - this model is a really thoroughbred racer.
To make the geometry of the frame more versatile, the adjustable rear dropouts were installed - a pioneering invention by the legendary brand from Torino.
The year 1995, in which this bike was produced, was a fateful one for the world of steel frames. It was the last year in which a steel bike won the Tour de France.
So in many ways 1995 was the last pinnacle year for steel road bike design. And the Team Kelme which rode its blue Gios steeds that year, profited from some of the finest material.
Our Gios Compact Evolution keeps the original paintwork - the iconic "Gios Blue" - and is fully equipped with the top-class Campagnolo Record groupset.
It is the perfect bicycle for cyclists with high demands for design and functionality. All parts have been thoroughly checked and replaced where it seemed appropriate. Even the tires are now some of the best in the market: Brand new Continental Grand Prix 4000S II!
