Description: Daccordi is a traditional Italian Bicycle manufacture. They went into business in 1937 and are still building bikes today.
In the humble beginnings the production was mainly everyday vehicles but later they started to invest more energy in sports bikes. And from 1981 on, they entered the market for top notch racing frames with stunning products and designs. Their creations belong to most beautiful and advanced steel bikes of the 1980s and 1990s.
And this exemplar is no exception.
Under the sky-blue paintjob lays a structure of high-end Columbus tubes. The most popular choice for professional bikes in the late 1980s and early 1990s. And these here have received an additional protective layer to prevent oxidation.
What makes it a real eyecatcher are the chromed stays and lugs which add just that extra bit of deluxe appearance.
As far as components are concerned, we find a choice of the finest.
Campagnolo Omega wheels and Campagnolo C-Record, including the beautiful Cobalto brakes which match the frame perfectly.
A superb machine which rides just as smooth as it looks.
A dream bike, as heavenly as its paint.
If you want to, we could even change the indexed shifting to non indexed, to make this bike fully Eroica eligible. »See Details
