This beautiful Cycles Victory from the late 1980s is in many ways a typical French artisan road bike.
French frame builders are known to rely on excellent material to build extraordinary frames. This specific one is no exception. The light and strong Vitus Super tubes have been shaped into a pure and technically advanced racer.
You will find no engravings and pantographs which could distract from the plain joints and geometry.
Small solutions like the vertical dropouts, the neat seat lug cluster with integrated threading for the clamping screw or the internal routing with cable entries on the downside of the top tube reveal a distinct sense for fine details.
The chromed fork and rear triangle make this bike weather and race proof to a point many other top models of bigger manufacturers just do not reach.
An effective, reliable and balanced racer, ready to take you out on some hard rides.
Used. The bike is in very good condition. The frame has no dents, no cracks and is not bent. The original paintwork has few small touch-ups. The chrome is excellent. All parts are working fine. All bearings have been checked, lubed and adjusted.
