Concorde Colombo CX Bike 1980s
- Manufacturer: Concorde
- Size: 55.5 cm
p>Concorde bicycles were built on the basis of Italian steel frames which were made by expert craftsmen like Ciöcc using Columbus steel tubes. During the late 1980s and 1990s, Concorde sponsored the Dutch cycling team PDM with Rudy Dhaenens, who won the World Championship in 1990 riding a Concorde road bike. Concorde bicycles are always quality machines.
Just as this Concorde Colombo from the 1980s. The frame has a 1980s fading white-blue paintjob under which Columbus tubing has been been joint with lugs.
Being a classic Cyclocross bike it is built using some classic parts from Shimano. Additionally there are the excellent SunTour retro-friction bar-end shifters, a Mavic bar and stem plus the iconic Mafac Cantilever brakes.
The bike has been thoroughly checked through and is good enough for some immediate cyclocross racing action as well as leisure cross country rides.
- Condition: Used. The bike is in good working condition. The frame has no cracks and is not bent. Paint and decals are original with some touch ups. All parts have been checked, replaced where necessary and are working fine.
