  • Description:

One of the most iconic bikes to leave the famous factory in Cavenago, Italy, the Colnago Mexico was produced to celebrate the 1972 world hour record of Eddy Merckx. The next step in its evolution became the Colnago Nuovo Mexico, first released in the early 1980s. It was built with profiled Columbus SL tubes which had distinctive crimps on the sides of the tubes.

This Nuovo Mexico dates to approximately 1981/1982, as can be told by the unique top tube only crimp and a round downtube. The superb frame still has the original paintwork and its decals are original too.
This bike has been built up with Campagnolo Record parts. Which are fully pantographed. A nice touch to any Colnago bike. The brakes even got a modification with better bolts.

Our bike has been checked the workshop by our team of mechanics. Now it is ready to ride the white gravel of your next Eroica event.
