Here we offer you a Colnago Master Più from ca. 1990.
The very first generation of the Colnago Master was released in 1984, the same year in which Giuseppe Saronni won the Giro d'Italia - riding a Colnago Master, of course.
The Master was meant to be an improvement of the Mexico which had been Colnago's top model before. It had completely different lugs and a drastically changed tubing.
Any cyclist out there dreamed to own a Master, just like avid collectors nowadays have one in their collection.
The frame truly is an "evergreen". The tubing - "Columbus Gilco Design - Profilo S4" - has profiled sections and was specifically designed by Gilberto Colombo to improve the stiffness and to better withstand mechanical strain.
The Master had a huge impact on the cycling scene and became the most winning road bike model in the following years.
This Master Pù also comes with an internal cable routing, three-point headlugs, number plate holder and a straight 'Precisa' fork, which was developed by Colnago after some research had shown that it could have better dampening characteristics than a curved version.
A superbe piece of road racing history around 1990. which is made even better by the groupset which is installed. It is the Campagnolo Croce d'Aune including a set of the legendary Delta brakes!
