  • Description:
When in the 1980s frame builders made new materials like titanium available to a wider public, US companies were on the forefront of introducing them.
Clark Kent from Denver, Colorado, was one of those pioneers. The company name is a construct of the second names of its two founders and is not based on the Superman character. Though the qualities of our bike might suggest that.
Clark Kent were the first ones to build Greg Lemond branded bikes and were also responsible for some of the Seven-Eleven team bikes. They sponsored Olympic champions and were pretty popular in the early 1990s.
Then two things came together and led to a quick disappearance of the company. Several of their mountain bikes gained a questionable reputation for being welded in a way that made them prone to failure and, what was worse, the company was notoriously financially mismanaged. The financial situation finally led to Clark Kent being shut down.
Our frame has to be one of the last ones that were made by them. At that time, two real master frame builders were working for CK: Ivo Vinklarek and Don Herr.
The frame design is very clean and neat and the quality can be felt with every pedal stroke and every cornering. To make this sexy bike even more attractive, it is equipped with Campagnolo Record parts and a Campagnolo wheelset.
If you are looking for a classic and classy titanium road bike or if you just want to soar over the streets like Superman, this bike is what you are searching for. »See Details
