When in 1977 the U23 world championships in San Cristobal were won on a Ciöcc frame, Pelizzoli started to baptize his top road bike after the City in Venezuela.
Our bike here is one of those bikes that in 1977 earned this name. What is very nice indeed, is the the fact that the frame was refurbished in the Pelizzoli workshop and thus comes with a certificate of authenticity!
What is really special indeed is the size of this machine. Not only does it come at an unusually small size of 48 cm, it also has an evenly short top tube - something which is rather rare for old road bikes. The cranks have been carefully chosen to match the size of the frame and come in an appropriate length of 167.5mm.
Regarding the components, a Campagnolo Record groupset completes this bicycle and makes it a perfect machine to tackle the impervious gravel "Strade Bianche" of L'Eroica.
The bike is in greatl condition and has been checked in our workshop.
An Italian bike with heritage. The right choice for high-demanding enthusiasts!»See Details
