Description:
This Casati Duo Frame is another one of the typical fine pieces standing in the long tradition of the Casati bicycle manufacture. Founded in 1920 in Monza, Italy, the Family Casati has served generations of cyclists with their craftsmanship, their passion and their technical expertise.
Casati has always been known for frames which are produced with the greatest accuracy and attention to detail.
And our Casati Laser '75 Anniversary or simply just the "Settantacinqusimo" here is no exception. This top of the line handcrafted frame is made of Columbus Genius steel tubes and made for serious racing. Casati was at the forefront of frame design and it shows. The Laser has some unique solutions like internal seatpost clamping in the top tube (with a discreet bolt on the side) or the internally routed gear cables which neatly enter the frame on the head tube. The lightweight yet strong bottom bracket shell is also one to admire. The down and top tubes have been ovalized to match the specially shaped lug.
This frame is certainly a great base for a classic 1990s of a postmodern built with a great ride.
