Located in Cuneo (Piedmont, Northern Italy), C.B.T. Italia has produced high-end racing bicycles since the early 1980s, when Guido Tardivo joined the family business that his father Giovanni established thirty years before. (Costruzioni Bici Tardivo)
The tubing of our CBT frame consists of Columbus tubing. The brand which has been the choice of most professional riders back in the second half of the 1980s and the early 1990s.
But what makes the frame really extraordinary is the way it has been profiled. The three main tubes are each showing four crimps to make the tubing even stiffer (and add to a really rad look). The chromed chain stays and fork blades have a rhombic 'diamante' profile, a fine detail otherwise known from De Rosa bikes. The rear braking cable is elegantly routed inside of the top tube.
This frame is definitely worth to be built up. One of the more exciting steel frame s out there.
