This Bonfanti from Bergamo in Northern Italy is proof to the claim that the standard of frame building in Italy during the 1970s was second to none in the world. During this decade even a 'shop brand' like Bonfanti was capable of offering racing bikes which were made so perfectly that they were effectively as good as the bikes of the professional peloton - and sometimes even had a finer finish.
Our Bonfanti Gran Criterium was made using top class Columbus SL tubing and sports nice details like finely cut lugs, chromed rear dropouts a chromed fork and exquisitely executed spoon-shaped seat stay caps.
The parts for this frame are of top quality, too. Nothing less than Campagnolo Super Record and Campagnolo Nuovo Record components were used while building the Bonfanti. A Cinelli finishing set with handlebar, stem and seat is just the icing on this cycling cake!
A perfect bike for all types of riding, especially vintage cycling events and weekend jaunts.
Used. The bike is in very good condition. The frame has no cracks, no dents and is not bent. Paintwork and decals are original. All parts have been thoroughly checked and are working fine.
